Australia ODI World Cup 2023 Schedule

Australia will kick off their campaign in the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 against India in Chennai, following the unveiling of the complete tournament schedule by the International Cricket Council (ICC) in Mumbai on Wednesday.

The 10-team tournament will commence on October 5 in Ahmedabad, with the rematch of the 2019 final between reigning champions England and runners-up New Zealand.

After hosting the tournament in 1987, 1996, and 2011, this is the fourth occasion when India will be the host. While the previous editions were co-hosted, this 13th edition of the tournament will mark India’s first opportunity as a sole host. Days of the World Cup.

During the 2011 edition, India defeated Australia in the quarterfinals before clinching their second 50-over title.

Australia will play at eight different venues in this edition: Chennai, Lucknow, Bengaluru, Delhi, Dharamshala, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and Pune. The Australian team will conclude their league stage of the tournament against Bangladesh in Pune on November 12.

The semi-finals will take place in Mumbai (November 15) and Kolkata (November 16), with the final scheduled for November 19 in Ahmedabad.”
